Vacancy for a parish councillor

We have a vacancy for a parish councillor and are looking to co-opt.

We are looking for an individual who is interested in:

  • Keeping our village vibrant and a good place to live
  • Working on local projects that enhance the community
  • Getting involved in planning matters & how the village looks
  • Helping attract grants and funding to support the work of the council

Your commitment

Attendance at one or two formal meetings per month with additional time spent working on projects outside of meetings

Training

We will encourage you to attend training so that you understand the role of a councillor and you will be supported by a team of experienced councillors and a parish clerk
